Crozier's business is the care of collections and one of the ways we accomplish
that is education. Through funding the advancement of museum registrars and
establishing fine art storage standards worldwide, Crozier is cultivating the best
    climate for collections.

Since 1991 Crozier has awarded six annual travel stipends for museum registrars
to attend the American Association of Museum conference. These awards have
fostered both education and networking among museum Registrars. And in 2006
Crozier expanded their support of museum registrars to include an international
travel award to the European Registrars' Conference.

Another educational avenue is the development of standards for fine art storage.
Presently there is no standardization for security, fire and safety, and climate
stabilization, so that collectors and institutions can rate which facilities are best
for them. Bob Crozier is currently working with insurance companies, museums
and other art storage companies to establish "Best Practices".

As Crozier moves toward the betterment of the fine art storage industry, your
collection reaps the benefits. And that's the whole idea.

Bob Crozier is working to establish standards for fine art warehousing worldwide.

The recent swell in fine art warehouse catastrophes including fires, theft and natural
disasters prompted Bob Crozier to take every precaution to insure that the
collections housed in his warehouses were as safe as possible. During this exercise,
Bob worked with insurance and museum sectors to establish "Best Practices Guide-
lines" for a fine art storage company.

In an effort to share this information and in turn protect other collections, Bob has
presented his findings to *ICEFAT, an organization representing 79 of the finest
independent art transportation firms from over 34 countries, of which he is a
member. ICEFAT created a multi-party task force to develop and implement guide-
lines for operating state-of-the-art commercial art storage facilities. Bob Crozier has
been named as Committee Chairman. The committee will address insurance under-
writer concerns, which include the potential for vandalism, theft, accidental damage
and catastrophic loss.

The benefits of the study will be broad, positively affecting the museum world,
auction houses, corporate and private collectors, galleries, artists, and their insurers.
The new ICEFAT group expects to complete "Best Practices Guidelines," acceptable
to the fine arts warehouse and insurance industries, as well as clients, by its next
annual meeting in October 2009.

In his address as the ICEFAT conference, Bob Crozier stated, "The worldwide
community of commercial fine art warehouses is proud to take the leadership of
this effort, which will ensure the safety and viability of the art entrusted to our
care. We look forward to an open and collegial dialogue with the many groups
and companies that will be positively affected by our adoption of Best Practices."
