COVID-19 Return to Work

Protecting our staff and clients remains our highest priority, therefore we are taking extraordinary measures to ensure everyone’s safety.  To help clients navigate this changing landscape, we have published our Return to Work Status, a visualization of the current service status across all of our 19 locations, and our Return to Work Guidelines, which outline the protocols all employees and visitors must adhere to when entering Crozier facilities

In connection with the Covid-19 pandemic and communicable disease emergency, we are taking the following steps to protect the health and safety of our employees, visitors and customers. These will be updated periodically to stay in line with current guidance and recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

1. Require all employees who are experiencing symptoms of the Covid-19 virus to remain home;

2. Require all employees who’ve had close contact (‹ 6 feet (2m) for more than 10 minutes) with an individual who’s tested positive for the virus to self-quarantine (following local government self-quarantine guidance) and prohibit them from working at an Iron Mountain location during such self-quarantine;

3. Require employees to use personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with WHO, CDC and local governmental guidance. PPE will include: surgical masks or washable face coverings for all drivers and employees working within 6 feet (2m) of others; gloves; soap and water or hand sanitizer; surface disinfectant/wipes;

4. Provide employees sanitizer/disinfectant wipes to disinfect scanners, handheld devices, copiers, keyboards, telephones and other equipment in their work areas;

5. Provide drivers/couriers with hand sanitizer and surface disinfectant wipes to store in vehicles;

6. Provide frontline teams technical sheets to explain PPE use and best practices for avoiding contagion;

7. Post signage at all main entry points instructing all visitors, contractors and employees to not enter the facility if they’re experiencing any symptoms of the Covid-19 virus;

8. Reinforce frequent hand washing in line with WHO and CDC guidance and provide access to hand sanitizer

9. Implement social distancing practices and expand work-from-home capabilities;

10. Implement temperature screening where locally mandated by government regulations;

11. Cancel, postpone or modify requirements for in-person meetings, training, and events;

12. Implement enhanced cleaning intervals at facilities and regularly disinfect frequently touched items (e.g., door knobs, handrails);

13. Consolidate routes. use shift variations where feasible to allow social distancing, and implement protocols to limit close interaction with customers (e.g., changing material pick-up location to docks).

1. Restrict visitors and vendors and require “Pre-Entry Affidavit” from non-employees;

Notify customers if an employee was at a customer site in the past 15 days and (i) they test positive for Covid-19 or (ii) have been in close contact (‹ 6 feet (2m) for more than 10 minutes) with an individual who tested positive for Covid-19 and is experiencing symptoms of the virus;

2. All visitors and vendors must adhere to Iron Mountain Safety Protocols which include:
– PPE (masks/face coverings and gloves) enforced upon entering our building, riding in lifts and circulating within the facility and in the restrooms or any space you cannot maintain 6 ft. / 2m apart
– Undergo temperature screening per Iron Mountain Temperature Screening Protocols or where locally mandated by government regulations

3. Reinforce frequent hand washing in line with WHO and CDC guidance and provide access to hand sanitizer;

4. Implement social distancing practices
