Last month, Crozier supported the transportation of a suite of American founding-era documents as part of the National Archives Freedom Plane initiative. In honor of the U.S.A.’s 250th anniversary on July 4, these rare and original documents were brought on tour to museums and institutions across the country.
While not directly affiliated with the project, Crozier was entrusted with the secure ground transportation of the encased documents from the Van Nuys Airport to the USC Fisher Museum of Art for a special exhibition in Los Angeles. The coordinated operation included a police escort, an on-board courier to accompany the shipment in the Crozier sprinter van, and support from the university's ROTC team, who transferred the documents from the aircraft.
The project offers visitors a unique opportunity to engage with key artifacts that shaped American history. The USC Fisher Museum of Art’s exhibit highlighted the educational importance of seeing the ideas the country was built on.
Crozier was also on site to support the return transport of the collection, reinforcing the trust in our coordination when it comes to the high-security logistics required to care for cultural heritage.
This project also reflects our continued support of efforts that expand access to cultural and historical storytelling, including our recent collaboration with FAPE and Crayola for their Creative Freedom Contest.
