After two and a half weeks on the ground at Art Basel, I left with a renewed appreciation for what it actually takes to power this industry. During that time, I worked alongside our teams across Crozier locations as they supported more than 100 galleries from around the world with installations and on-site services.

Art Basel is always the market's ultimate pulse check. This year felt optimistic, but distinctly measured. Rather than the impulse to purchase, conversations throughout the week reflected a more deliberate approach from collectors. Quality, provenance and long-term significance took center stage, creating a market that felt increasingly disciplined and rooted in relationships.
That was evident across the fair. Galleries presented carefully curated booths, institutions remained actively engaged, and collectors took time to look, ask questions and make considered acquisitions. It reinforced the importance of preparation, not only for exhibitors, but also for the partners supporting them behind the scenes.

One of my biggest takeaways was the truly global nature of our work. Across every hall, we worked with galleries from a wide range of geographies, each with unique logistical requirements and ambitious installation plans. Watching our teams coordinate seamlessly across locations and time zones was a reminder that successful exhibitions rely on much more than what visitors see on the gallery walls.
From early-morning installs and last-minute adjustments before the VIP preview to deliveries to private jets, every day reinforced the same point: successful exhibitions are built on precision, collaboration, and trust.

Basel is always an intense week, but it is also one of the best opportunities to reconnect with clients, understand how the market is evolving and strengthen relationships that extend well beyond fair week.
A sincere thank you to our clients for trusting Crozier with their artworks, and to our incredible teams, whose expertise, professionalism and dedication make complex projects appear effortless. I look forward to continuing those partnerships throughout the year.
As we move into the second half of the year, Basel proved once again that while market trends may shift, execution and trust remain the ultimate currency.
