This year’s Miami art fair season was Crozier’s busiest yet, serving more galleries than ever before. It can be hard to quantify but various sales reports suggest renewed confidence in the art market. Art Basel itself reported sales surpassing 2024 figures within just the first few hours of its VIP preview.

New to Miami this year was Art Basel’s inaugural edition of Zero 10, a global initiative dedicated to art of the digital era. Exhibitor at Zero 10 and Crozier client Aniko Berman, Director, AOTM Gallery comments:

"The response to our presentation of Dmitri Cherniak was tremendous. First VIP day sales were fast and steady towards fully selling out — to known crypto buyers as expected, but notably to new collectors as well, for whom this will be their first tokenized artwork. The aim of our Zero 10 presentation was to showcase and contextualize the breadth of Cherniak's contribution to the digital art landscape, to debut his newest algorithm Polygon Etcetera, and to expose new audiences to this work. We successfully achieved all these things at Art Basel Miami Beach."

In reference to working with Crozier, Aniko said: “We were so happy to have Crozier help us with the installation and shipping for our first physical presentation at Art Basel.” The Floor Ringer, a “human-sized” sculpture in stainless steel, weighs around 700 pounds. “Crozier helped us bring it down to Miami from the artist's studio in Brooklyn, New York. It was challenging and took a lot of manpower.”

It was Cristin Tierney’s first time participating in the Galleries sector, presenting works by Julian V.L. Gaines, Malia Jensen, Dread Scott, Roger Shimomura, Sara Siestreem (Hanis Coos), Jorge Tacla, and a live performance by Tim Youd. We caught up with Mauricio García-Miró Jeri, Associate Director:

“I’m really grateful for Crozier’s support. It’s good to have reps on the ground and readily available to help with art work swaps or to provide packing materials. We rely on Crozier’s art handling expertise for complex installations.

“Sugar Kelp" by Sara Siestreem is made up of 40 separate panels, each hanging on cleats that need to sit straight with minimal space in between. One of Crozier’s art handlers tackled the whole project with ease.“

Design Miami

In Design Miami’s Special project section, Gagosian co-presented a suite of Malaparte’s furniture with Malaparte Design. This marked the first time the visionary writer's furniture was shown at an international design fair. The booth featured four pieces total: a bench, a desk, and a console, plus the debut of the home’s living room sofa designed by the visionary writer and intellectual.

Crozier House

Crozier hosted our first ‘home from home' during the fair in collaboration with Dream South Beach by Hyatt. Fairs can be hectic, so we wanted to offer clients and partners a dedicated area to connect and recharge. Thanks to everyone who stopped by.

As the fairs for 2025 come to a close, we’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who has worked with us at any of the fairs across the globe. If you’d like to inquire about any fairs next year please reach out to artfairs@crozierfinearts.com
